Meet Beth Riley
Beth Riley is a leading expert in eating disorders, body image, and the psychology of nutrition. Trained by some of the most respected pioneers in the field, she brings a deeply integrative and evidence-based approach to helping individuals transform their relationship with food and their bodies.
She is the author of Breakthrough Binge Eating: The Simple Solution to Ending Your Struggles with Food and Your Body, a practical and compassionate guide that has helped countless individuals break free from cycles of binge eating and body dissatisfaction.
Beth is also a health and wellness entrepreneur who founded and led a successful outpatient eating disorder center, which was later acquired by Eating Recovery Center. Her work has extended into program development at scale, including creating a protocol for screening and counseling bariatric patients that was implemented across four major hospital systems, as well as developing an evidence-based curriculum for binge eating.
In addition to her clinical and entrepreneurial work, Beth has trained hundreds of clinicians across both medical and mental health disciplines, equipping them with the tools to effectively support individuals struggling with disordered eating and body image challenges.
Most recently, she developed an 8-week virtual program designed to support GLP-1 users in navigating the psychological and emotional complexities of both using these medications and transitioning off of them—addressing a critical and rapidly emerging need in the field.
Known for her clear, actionable frameworks and deeply empathetic approach, Beth is committed to redefining how we understand and treat eating and body-related struggles—bridging the gap between research, clinical practice, and real-life application.
